How long does our Potenza microneedling treatment last and how many sessions do you need?

Our Potenza microneedling treatment sessions take about 45-60+ minutes, we recommend you do at least 4-6 treatments for skin tightening and revitalization. Your skin will continue to improve during the 6-12 months, you’ll start seeing real results after the second or third session. The treatment will last about 4-5 years but results may vary depending on the patient.

Pre-Care Before Potenza Microneedling:

• Inform us if you are allergic to topical numbing cream BEFORE starting the treatment
• Hydration! Make sure you are hydrated! For amplified results, drink ½ of your body weight in ounces for 1 week prior to treatment. Hydration ensures collagen synthesis, comfort, skin resilience and much more!
• Shave visible hair from the treatment area.
• Avoid drinking alcohol for 24+ hours prior to treatment.
• Avoid tanning beds, self tanners, and active sun exposure. Always use an SPF 30+ daily and wear a hat.
• Discontinue all active, exfoliative ingredients of skincare (retinol, AHA/BHA, vitamin c) 5-7+ days prior to treatment.
• Discontinue high doses of aspirin.
• Accessorize lightly since we will ask you to remove all jewelry prior to starting treatment.
• Arrive with no makeup since we will have to remove all makeup prior to starting treatment.

Post-Care After Potenza Microneedling:

• Use a gentle soothing cleanser followed by a fresh towel each cleanse
• Do not scrub or exfoliate the treated area
• Avoid excessive sun exposure for up to 7+ days and wear SPF.
• Avoid sweating activities for 48 hours
• Cover your pillowcase daily for 4-5 days with a clean towel each day
• Refrain from applying makeup for 48 hours, make sure your brush up brushes/tools are cleaned to resume using post 48 hours of your treatment
• Avoid alcohol consumption for 48 hours
• Do not touch your face without washing your hands with antibacterial soap
• Do not use any active ingredient skincare products like topical acids, retinols, retin A, etc for 7 days following your treatment. Only use the advised products by your treatment provider
• Refrain from deep exfoliation and/or retinol products for 7 to 10 days of treatment
• (Optional): To minimize the post-procedure pain, apply clean ice packs on the treatment zone.
